In this third series, I like to discuss about fat and what kind of fat is friendly to your prostate.
Of late, studies indicate that if your diet is low with animal fats, your risk of getting prostate problems reduces.

So, you need to avoid taking high amounts of saturated fat which is found in animal and trans fatty acids (hydrogenated vegetable oil). You have to say no to high-fat beef, margarine and dairy products.
However, some fats are healthy. Omega-3 fatty acids which are found in cold-water fish and flaxseed oil improve your prostate health and may inhibit the growth of prostate cancer. So start eating herring, sardines, salmon, and mackerel. You can bring down the risk of prostate cancer by a third, based on a report found in The Lancet.
